I'm gonna be honest, that was such a compelling documentary of Steve Gleason, the former special teams standout on the Saints. He retired in 2008 and in 2011 was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.
This documentary shows him from the day he was diagnosed and his early symptoms all the way through present day, where he can't speak, can't breathe on his own and is pretty much helpless. He uses a special computer to communicate and I'm telling you, it is so riveting and sad. Also shows his wife and how she went from being this free spirit who was always happy to someone who ends up seemingly to resent all the work she does to take care of him and their child.
Trust me guys, it is a must see and after watching something like that it really puts in perspective when we complain about a football or basketball game.
