I don't see how Capel doesn't make staff changes but I don't think he will. He's ride or die with those guys. He really needs to hire an AAU coach who brings a Top 50ish kid with him.
Lol. The idea that the Hoyas’ problem was its assistant coaches and not Pat is funny.
If Capel doesn’t make any staff changes, I’m 100% done with him. It shows he doesn’t give a crap at all and status quo is fine with him.
Yeah they announced Ewing was back last week, to be honest given his stature with the University I wasn’t surprised. As fluky as it was winning the BE tournament last year probably helped as well.
That being said even the great Patrick Ewing was probably forced into making staff changes to keep his job, I would think it would be very empowering to Capel if not only was he welcomed back but allowed to maintain his current sorry staff.
How scary would it be if Pitt was lousy again next year but Capel was still retained with the condition that he make staff changes for 23-24?

When I say “great” I mean as a player and symbol of the school, not for his total lack of head coaching ability.
I think he has already proven that he is more concerned about getting himself and friends/family paid than he is with the good of the Pitt program. This is his 4 straight losing season and we just lost to BC by 20 points. If he indeed truly believes we are on the right path, then he is either a complete moron or delusional.
Please let this be true @pierre93 I know you have sources and/or are the source yourself.

Hopefully sooner than later as recruiting is picking up and lots of staffs are out now.
Well I did know 3 weeks ago JC was going to be retained but wanted that to be untrue lol. Also hearing an assistant or 2 will be gone. This information I want to be 110% true!!! H2P!!
