I check the obits regularly now (not so much for me and friends, but their parents) and I came across a Steve Beatty, 60 years old from Slippery Rock. And quickly put 2 and 2 together and read the obit and yes, it was the same guy who played for Pitt in the early to mid 80's. Right before Charles Smith and crew got here. Shame. RIP Steve.
