What a class, character, and graduate of Pitt finishing off his MBA. No matter what happens this Alumnus will always be proud of Pitt and Pitt of Mr. Ford! Good Luck on Thursday and Friday in the NFL Draft or Signs-Ons as well. These 3 People from the region shows what PItt & Community commitment is all about even after graduation.
Excerpt:

Former Pitt wide receiver Dontez Ford hopes to keep alive his dream of playing in the NFL this weekend when teams stock their rosters with young players fresh from college. Meanwhile, he continues his quest for an MBA in Pitt's Katz Graduate School of Business. Those are admirable pursuits, but football and academics are only part of Ford's story. For the second year in row, Ford and Pitt classmates Craig Bittner and Jim Fanning are raising money to help the Sto-Rox School District obtain desperately needed resources. This year's goal: A cart full of Google Chromebooks.......“I grew up learning that whenever you're able to make a difference in someone's life that's what you do,” Ford said. “It's hard-wired into our minds: You do good for people and you don't have to expect anything in return.”

Dontez is just a special individual. He has gone to Haiti to help hurricane survivors, he builds homes for Homes of Humanity, he assists youth in multiple sports camps, etc.
The guy is exactly who all of us should strive to emulate...at least I know he inspires me to be more free w/ my time to benefit less fortunate.
From the day he transferred from Cuse, Dontez has been a feather in Pitt's cap. He's 1 good Dude !!!

H2 PITT !!!

You hit on a great idea too, if every Pitt Player would follow Ford's Blueprint Pitt in No Time would be one of first considerations of rebuilding Recruiting from every Player's high School A Great way to bringing and secure ties the bind in the long run.
