This has to be the most exhausting message board in America. Maybe the world. The constant negativity and anyone who is even remotely positive is shouted down. The team sucks. The coach sucks. The athletic department sucks. The Sociology Department sucks. The fans suck. The posters suck. Your dog sucks. Be a fan. Don't be a fan. Who cares? Life is too damned short. I used to come here for good conversation, interesting and sometimes divergent perspectives but always engaging stuff. But this board has become a whine fest for babies and a place for internet tough guys to show their typing muscles. In tomorrow's game the team will win. Or they will lose. There's nothing anyone posting here can do about it either way. They will make the tournament. Or they won't. They will win a game or two. Or they won't. All in all it just doesn't matter that much. It's hard enough to be a basketball fan in Pittsburgh given the lack of chatter about it overall and the absence of media who can talk intelligently about it. I hope for some of you this is just a diversion and what you post is all about your schtick. Otherwise I'm sorry. Really sorry.
