I know I will get hammered for not caring about the "kids" etc but hey if you have a hold of the quarterback's facemask and you are pulling him straight to the ground...don't let go for crissakes! That cost the Panthers seven points in that the db slowed up and it turned into sort of a busted play...

UPJ, agree 100%, make it count !

Amara needs to play to the whistle. No reason to let your man blow by you for the easy TD. Narduzzi was all over Amara after that play, as he should have been.

I screamed that at the TV when he let go. You get 15 yards whether you let go or not. You get 15 yards if he's looking out the earhole of the helmet too. Might as well make the stop and get your moneys worth out of the 15 yards.

No reason for a back up safety to have primary responsibility for covering Switzer down field with no under coverage from a corner.

Narduzzi defensive scheme played right into unc's hands.

Narduzzi shouldn't yell at a safety for not being able to cover switzer alone down field that long one on one.... It was a bad play call defensively hanging amara out to drive .

Just like the steelers wouldn't expect shamarko Thomas to cover Julian Edelman down field one on one

As a safety you are taught never to let anyone behind you on broken plays like that. That is probably what Narduzzi was telling him.

Amara quit on the play because he thought Williams was going down, allowing Switzer to run right by him. This had nothing to d do with Narduzzi or the coaching staff; it's a lack of focus by one player.
