Please jump right in to tell me I'm crazy but I think we made a great hire in Jeff Capel and there's enough talent and enthusiasm to pull some upsets and be competitive. Unrealistic?

I am not about to panic yet but there have been a number of targets that Pitt at one time was mentioned prominently with that are no longer options. Numbers are dwindling. The early signing period is on the horizon. No early signee would create some panic with me.
Absolutely... you would have to be insane to panic at this point. We are really in for a lot of top kids. You have to love the effort. He is getting some big names to talk to the players, and bringing some real good opportunities.
I will take JC aiming high and missing rather than aiming lowhoping a 3* can be "coached up" to be competitive in the ACC. There have been exceptions to this over the years - I get it. But the programs who consistently seem to be winning have a higher number of 4* & 5* guys on their roster - if it seems like there is smoke, there is probably fire. As quickly as the previous coach destroyed the expectations and hope for the program, it will not be a quick fix for Capel to resurrect the quality of play, improved recruits, and hope of the alumni and fan base.
Will be tough as half the ACC in the rankings as usual.
