Had a chance to attend practice and, while there, spoke with someone connected to the program who attends all the practices (not a coach but as close as you can get). A few comments from him:
1. He believes Challingsworth is in the lead for the 3rd WR. Ford is solid in the second spot.
2. He believes Bertke is "real green" and still has a lot to learn.
3. He believes if we can have just an average defense, we should win 9 or 10 games.
I'm not going to say who I spoke to because I would be a real a-hole to do that.
