1. The start of this season was great and was exactly what this team and program needed. This program is in good hands and we are moving in the right direction.
2. We finally got into the meat and potatoes aspect of our schedule and came across a team that simply was faster and just better than us in almost all facets tonight.
3. Notre Dame could really give us fits. I hope it is not as ugly as it could be. We usually play up against then and I hope we rise to the occasion again. But they have so much speed and I think could just slice us up in the passing game.
4. We will get better. The good start got recruits notice and Narduzzi will get his guys in here. We need an influx of talent at ALL positions.
5. Not sold on Chaney. He shows signs of competent playcalling followed by some real bone headed stuff in my eyes. Not sure if he just tries to get too cute with things or is still in a discovery phase of trying to figure out what he wants this offense to be, but man is it frustrating at times to watch.
