This past season was his 12th at Pitt (hired in 2013).This HAD to happen. Very glad that it did. He’ll be in his 12th year, correct?
Longevity, stability, and success. He’s got to be so hey to get over the hump. I’m assuming that Stafford won’t be back (although not a 100% done deal yet), but he’s got some big time recruits coming the next 2 years. This past season was his 12th at Pitt (hired in 2013).
Two years from now is going to be our best shot. Senior Babcock, and brining in Ayanna Watson who may be the #1 overall hitter in that class and a Babcock-level player as a freshman. I think the 2025 season will be about finding out who is the OH and setter of the future (still expect a top 10 maybe top 5 team but not sure if it will be championship caliber) and getting everything aligned for when the 2026 class comes in.Longevity, stability, and success. With the new arena coming, highly touted recruits coming, one of if not the best coaches sewn up, the time is perfect for a Natty.
Probably. Or at the very least he’s not going to sacrifice the most successful program at Pitt on the altar of revenue sports.Allen Greene's first big move and an indication he is not going to sacrifice "non-revenue" sports on the altar of revenue sports.
