With the early Signing Day in the rearview, we're now entering what I'm calling the "recruiting second season" - the six-week run up to the February Signing Day.
Pitt signed 16 recruits on Wednesday and added a transfer yesterday, so they've got limited spots for February. But here are five names to watch in the second season.

Additionally, keep an eye on Jayden McDonald.
He is committed to Rutgers but opted to not sign on Wednesday. He has already gotten new offers from Kansas and Ole Miss in the wake of his decision to not sign, and Pitt has been involved for awhile. The coaches visited his school in December and have been showing some interest, so he's another potential LB target.
Additionally, i think Pitt will keep looking for another running back target. I didn't include any running backs in this "five to watch" piece because my hunch is the RB they sign - if they sign one - will be a guy they offer in January. We're working on compiling a list of potential RB targets to watch.
