If that's the case it's unlikely a vaccine will work either. But since people are making antibodies( including t cells) the chance that there won't be some immunity is very very low. How long that last is anyone's guess but the tcells typically last for years.

Well...we are screwed if this is the case with the virus and the antibodies are not robust enough. That being said....those who recovered do indicate a healthy immunity system and the possibility that herd immunity will work.

No need to rush to test that theory but there are significant amounts of "recovered" victims.

we should absolutely be doing serology testing to see what titre level is needed for effective immunity
That will be the phase 2 stage of the vaccine .

Not an expert by any means but is it possible that people are showing antibodies but it is not necessarily reflective of beating Covid 19.... but rather another strain of the corona virus that the test is set up to test?

Does that make sense?
