Yep, and just one more reason why Pitt's Coach Pat Narduzzi waited and wanted to come to Pitt!
If a recruit does not want to come here, then so be it. Next man up. No sense in starting 2-3 threads on a kid. There is so much storied history with our program, and we have an excellent staff in place. Stay positive and keep moving forward.

Absolutely, like I said on another thread if recruits like sanders don't want to go to Pitt, who cares, Pitt will be just fine, how many local kids are doing great things at other high and mighty programs as freshmen? Like Boyd and Whitehead did here at Pitt. And there are others who did go elsewhere and wish they didn't does Foster ring a bell? So if these local recruit want to to off to bigger and better things, so be it, Pitt will be just fine, ther is a saying about not letting the door hit ya. Good luck to wherever yinz end up
Yes, Narduzzi and staff have put together an excellent recruiting class, and I'm not basing that assessment one bit on class rankings or any other such nonsense. They are bringing in guys who are pure football players, and are faster and more aggressive than the guys we have now. I'm really excited to watch these guys grow and become impact players. Good stuff is happening.
Agreed. There are players who want to playfor PITT, then there is the opposition. Pitt is trending in the right direction, hopefully that momentum continues.
Pitt has had lower Recruiting rankings than WVU & Penn State in far more years than getting higher Rankings, and Pitt has put in the NFL Less Players than WVU and PSU the last 15 years?
Yet, those Pitt Players in the NFL have far out perform in going to more Pro Bowls, Offensive and Defensive & Rookie Players of the Years in both AFC and NFC Conferences with just 17 Pro Players while Penn State has over 30 and WVU 21!
Those 17 Pitt Players have far more NCAA & NFL Record Holders, Pro Bowl Selections, Players of the Years, and potential Future Hall Of Fame Candidates than PSU or WVU!
So, all those High recruiting rankings for WVU & PSU has not out produced Higher Award Winning players in the NFL compared to Pitt Players and PSU & WVU FAns hate those Facts and say that is unimportant?
Yet, USC, ND, MIAMI, PITT, OSU, MICHIGAN and TEXAS brags an show cases their Top Players in the NFL and Hall Of Fames too! And PITT is right there with those Programs and PSU & WVU behind!
