in the not so long ago past, we had a guy that could recruit. His name was Dave Wandstedt (sp). We complained about game day preparedness and halftime/in game adjustments and the ability to stop the run.
Now we have Duzz... who is 1-1 vs Penn St. and beat #1 Clemson AT CLEMSON, yet apparently falls short in the recruiting area. So, I just have to ask.....
1. What needs to happen to make you happy as a Pitt Football fan? Is it wins? Championships? Big time recruiting? Would you be happy with all of these things minus the recruiting wins? Maybe it’s just me, but given the way PSU has recruited over the last few years, I have expected more in terms of outcome.
2. How long do you think Duzz should have before he and the Pitt program “turns the corner?” By turn the corner, I mean, is a viable contender for tops in the ACC more years than not and has a few STAR PLAYERS on both sides of the ball, has nationally televised games that we win on the road and at home, plays in BCS bowls more often than we have over the last 30 years.
3. Is Duzz on the hot seat? What has he really done in two years? How long should he get? Who would do better in terms of wins, recruiting and program building?
