I can’t understand why people on this forum still defend this coaching staff and feel “more time is needed to rebuild”.
Everything that’s been on display show the talent isn’t there (and most importantly, will never be there with Stallings running the program).
We can talk all day about donations and buyouts but at the end of the day, fans (yes, even the diehards) are not going to waste their time with a bad product. Honestly, think about it from this perspective in example, if Apple (or any of your favorite products) all of a sudden started to fail or progressively got worse over time... would you still purchase it knowing the results will be worse?
I would think the manufacturer would look to improve their product instead of losing revenue.

At the end of the day, Scott Barnes destroyed this program (and yes, I’m aware that Jamie Dixon needed to move on but that’s a whole other subject because he and Howland brought the program back to relevancy).
At the end of the day, Stallings can’t coach (his record past and present in his career speak for itself). Save me the ridiculous argument that he has a 60 percentile overall win stat. Illinois State and Vanderbilt have a weak set of competition unless the name is Kentucky in the SEC. Simply put, he sucks.
At the end of the day, the recruiting is in the toilet...why? See above for the answer. None of these players would sniff the starting lineup at any other top 25 program except for maybe Carr. Sure, there’s no inside presence to make the team complete but again..,this falls on the coaches and their inability to recruit and develop players.
So again, why do fans continuously give a pass on what’s been happening with this program?
