if you go to the Military Bowl website, you will find out that there are still over 1,800 seats (all lower bowl) available on the Pitt side of the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
They also offer reserved parking on the site at the parking lot located next to the stadium.
Also, I'd like to point out that in my opinion, this is the perfect size for a stadium if it is ever built on the Pitt campus.

And also, you should order your tickets through Pitt.

This guy isn't a a Pitt fan, he is constantly demeaning. He's been trying to get posters to not buy through pitt they past week, and this stadium swipe is another obvious one.

Order through pitt first, and a 37k seat stadium is way to small for a P5 school, we draw 50 now and thats with being .500 for 30 years
I don't know if you have ever been there before but if you have you'd understand what I was referring to when I said it was the perfect size. With he way that stadium is constructed right, they could easily add 15,000 seats to it by enclosing the end zones.

Haven't been there but got my tickets, threw pitt upper deck because everyone says not a bad seat in the house. Plus pitts new allotment is lower lvl endzone now so no need to go threw military bowl untill pitt is sold out of their..... 3rd allotment

Did you actually read and UNDERSTAND the original post? It was done in an attempt to get more Pitt fans to attend the game. I have spoke with several friends of mine (Pitt alumni, just like myself) and asked if they were going and they said no because they said they heard all of the good seats were sold already. The original post was done to point out that to any other Pitt fans that may be interested in going that there are still some really good seats available. Does that sound demeaning to you??? By the way, I would have gladly purchased my tickets through the Pitt website but the best available seats on that site were 4 rows from the top, on the upper level. Why would I sit up there when there were much better seats available through the bowl's ticket office? To be quite honest, I really don't care where you or any one else buys their tickets, as long as they buy them and go to the game to support Pitt.
Also, when did I take a swipe at any stadium? Wait, let answer that for you, I didn't. All I did was point out that in my opinion, the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium is perfect for college football. Could the seating be a little larger for a school like Pitt, sure. Put seats in the one end zone where the SRO people stand and you can increase the capacity of the stadium by another 15,000 or so. An on campus stadium, with a capacity of 50,000 or so, would be perfect for Pitt.
One last thing, I have been a season ticket holder for Pitt Football, Men's Basketball and even WOMEN"S Basketball for the last two decades. Yep, you're right there skippy, I'm not a Pitt fan.

Have been there four times when Pitt played Navy and thee really isn't a bad seat in the stadium. Parking can be a little difficult, that's why we purchased the reserved parking pass. We usually have had to walk quite a distance rom the parking garage we use to get there.
In regards to Pitt's allotment, when we finally decided that we could all go, we checked the Pitt website and there really wasn't a whole lot left. I remembered hearing on 93.7 The Fan, that if Pitt's sells out their ticket allotment, they may get more, but that wasn't a sure thing. They suggested checking the bowl's website directly which is what we did. If Pitt would have had the seats we purchased on their own website the day we bought them, I'd have bought them through Pitt.
One last thing, you are going to love it down there. Make sure you get there early to take in some of the pregame atmosphere. Usually...very impressive.

That's fine, but Pitt and the ACC do. That's the difference. It is in Pitt's best interest, most especially this year, if everyone buys them through the University. Your own interests obviously override that.

That is 100% correct! If you care about Pitt Football as much as you say you do you purchase tickets from Pitt.
