No doubt. Football coaches can put up with assault, theft and some weed. But quitting they have no use for no matter what the circumstances. The possibility he will quit when things don't go his or his teams way will always be present until he proves otherwise. This is not a good look. There are plenty of teams in the NFL that don't have their seasons go the way they expect. But they don't need their players quitting on them and jeopardizing their livelihoods and income. Good luck to him!
