Article Former No. 1 QB recruit in the nation to visit Pitt this weekend

Burt Grossman pleased with the forecast of snow...for you older fans...:)

The Pittsburgh weather surely isn't going to co-operate with a Southern Cal boy visiting this weekend, hope he has a heavy jacket :D
If he hopes to play on Sundays, nothing could be better than spending a fall playing in Pittsburgh. Also, considering that it really doesn't start to get cold around here until late November, it's not like he's going to be playing in "Ice Bowl" conditions. Relatively few college games are actually played in the cold and snow, as consistently cold weather up north generally doesn't kick in until mid December.

I don't think playing in it is the concern. Living in it vs LA is the issue. Lot to love about Pittsburgh, but when you compare it to the casual comforts of the weather and women in LA, it is a tough sell to a 21 year old kid.

Who was the Florida qb that decommitted under Chryst?
I remember him taking his visit and it was two degrees that weekend. He flipped...I think to vandy....not long after. I don't think it was a coincidence.

If he can't do Pittsburgh for one year, with the possibility of a good year getting him to the NFL, then what on earth is he going to do if he has to go to Green Bay to realize his NFL dreams?

Wade Freeback was the QB.

Browne did start USC's first three games this year but struggled badly. he was benched for the RS freshman and knew it was all over for him there. Simply put, he was a bust. Odds are he's not a guy that we can plug and play here, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

The No. 1 quarterback in the recruiting class of 2013 is looking for a new home, and Pitt could be it.

Max Browne is leaving USC as a graduate transfer and will take an official visit to Pitt this weekend.

He was number 1 4 years ago and has done nothing since but ride pine. Zaire and Peterman same class but did more. Both started at previous schools. Why are we getting so excited about a p!ayer with not much more experience than our freshman and LESS than Schneider ?

The same could have been said about Peterman before he transferred to PITT.

Schneider is lone gone, old timer. Aren't you the same mope that constantly bitches about MacVittie not being a legitimate prospect?
