Kevan Smith is a catcher and made the Chicago White Sox 40 man roster ..... many remember that he was a QB on the Pitt football team but probably a better high school baseball player ..... he eventually left the football team and started to play baseball at Pitt ...... he is progressing toward the major leagues in baseball..... hope he makes it.
Ray Black is a pitcher and made the San Francisco Giants 40 man roster ..... he is a relief pitcher, was hurt the 1st 2 years after he was drafted, and was playing in "A" ball but throwing a 100 mph fastball ..... Giants must think he is a good prospect !
