I knew in the past, Pitt had such notable assistant coaches as Jimmy Johnson and Jon Gruden, but I didn't realize they also had Mike McCarthy (another future Super Bowl winning head coach) and Chris Petersen. With all the places Sal Sunseri has coached, did he ever apply to become Pitt's head coach through the years?
