Bill Belichick, likes to bring in Pitt Panthers and looks like the Steeler's are finally figuring it why, and now doing the same? Belichick's Rosters change often and many brought in for a year or two and then gone. Good Luck to Devin!
Excerpt:

It's hard to believe but Devin Street will be entering his fourth NFL season this fall. If things work out, he'll be playing for the New England Patriots. Street was picked up by New England through a waiver claim earlier today. The former Pitt receiver spent his first two years with the team that drafted him - the Dallas Cowboys. Last year, he played for the Indianapolis Colts. This is actually Street's second go-round with New England. He briefly signed with the team's practice squad last offseason but the Colts added him to their active roster.

Devin was a good receiver I thought for certain Shanny would be playing at the next level too...

He has made a few bucks, and he's qualified for a pension.

Hopefully many more years to go.

That's a great offense for a receiver to accumulate numbers. Brady never gets touched (imagine that a league that protects its best players) and they throw 90%of the time and he spreads it around. Their receivers do tend to take a beating with all those crossing patterns, gotta be tough. But it was proven again in the playoffs that just about anyone wth a pulse can prosper there ... can't even think of the name of the Nit lacrosse or water polo player or whatever he was, that took apart the Steelers in that playoff game?

I think he has to get a few more games on the active roster to be eligible for the nfl pension...

I didn't look too closely at his "status", but now that I have, I think that he does qualify.

It takes three years on a roster (active, injured, or unable to preform), with three games on a roster to = one year.

2014 and 2015 he was on the Cowboys roster, so at the minimum he has two years.

In September 2016 he was picked up by the Colts, and then put on the practice squad on November 23. He was promoted back to the active roster December 12, 2016.

So, it looks as if he has qualified. I had just assumed when I posted the first time.
