Those close to Matthews were miffed over the somewhat benign comments Dokish made on social media over the weekend and they took to social media to bash Pitt fans.

Yet James Franklin, who obviously wasn't too excited about his commitment, waits 5 days to send out a tweet about it today...obviously damage control.

These same people should be outraged at this, and Matthews can't be too happy. I really wish him luck. He's fighting an uphill battle up there.

He's being used. If he's ok with that, then good luck to him. If he's not, then that's on him. The fact that the offer came so late in the process would tell me everything I needed to know. But, none of us are him.

Look, PSU is infallible in most eyes. I cannot believe you people cannot see nor understand this. I mean they can have a pedophile raping kids on their staff, and it wouldn't matter. It is just me, and others can differ with no offense taken, but I see no upside in talking any recruit or program down when it comes to recruiting once a school and recruit chose that for him.

Penn State Fans have done this for years making up Nittany Lies like saying he wasn't Penn State Academically qualified or not Penn State material and has done that to other programs like ND, USC, Miami, Michigan, OSU and Texas, not just Pitt? But only later found out they needed the NCAA Monitor Oversight to comply with all Reforms on Rules and Laws in 2012 and still have a NCAA Monitor too?

Yet, Penn State Football History are still chasing Pitt Recruits & Players Accomplishment of Autumn in NCAA & NFL Record Books even during the Paterno Era of Lack of Institutional Control and Non-Compliance's!

Matthews Commit moved Penn State from 19th to 13th and good for him and Penn State! Penn State has been out recruiting Pitt in Recruiting Rankings in most years for over 50 years.....For example, Penn State just had Barkley becoming B1G Freshmen of the Year, and Nassib many CFB Post Season Awards!

Yet, Pitt has out done Penn State with Aaron Donald many Post Season CFB & NFL Awards, Conner ACC Player of The Year Award, and Whitehead and Ollison ACC Freshmen Of The Year Offense and Defense Award. As well as, All Century Players and Halls of Fames!

Even today, the 13 to 16 NFL Players from Pitt have more Pro Bowls and NFL Conference Players of the Year Awards than the 30+ from Penn State right now!

Pitt Recruits and Players have always beaten Penn State Players Awards and Records in the NCAA and NFL History even with less Players and far less NFL Busts!

The Penn State Smarter Posters know this to be true too and not afraid to admit it.

Only the PSU BWI Cult Posters hate that fact they cannot refute, and says it is not important, but would love to have that history!

Penn State out recruiting Pitt with its far bigger Revenue Resources has not made their Recruits or Player better than Pitt Accomplishment of Autumn the last century nor this New Century the last 16 years!

Pitt Recruits has dominated this aspect of both Programs and while putting less Players on the NCAA Rosters and in the NFL!

Smart Recruits go where they can play right away and learn to play better in the NFL, and Pitt is right up there with USC, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, and Michigan and above Penn State!

I can't believe Franklin didn't tweet about Matthews sooner.

I know that he (or whoever manages his official account) is all over Twitter. Yesterday I had a spat with some PSU guy on twitter regarding Miles Sanders. I think Miles was "on" part of the original twitter exchange I had this the PSU guy. (Franklin wasn't even on the convo.) About 3 minutes later Franklin had blocked me. Has anyone else experienced this?

Frankly, I was very impressed with the Franklin Twitter account's ability to seek out Pitt fans and block them. It was really efficient. If only his coaching game was as good as his twitter game.

Many things and bad Karma have comeback on Penn State's Fan Base for its prior sins of thinking they were special and superior to all other CFB Programs and a Coach not following all Rules & Compliance's as well as reducing his own program in Wins to make more money in the B1G by his choice and bringing shame to Penn State's name?

Now that Penn State has put in New Reforms to change the Penn State Football Culture, and almost near of removing the NCAA Monitor free from all Sanctions aftermaths?

Penn State now has to deal with bigger Big Ten full of Programs making money and can afford better Coaches too, and that is something the PSU Fan Base is learning it is not that easy anymore, and never will be anymore!

There is still much to be admired by PSU and the graduates and Fans I have come to know that are very decent, fair, and proud people and alumni, and the PSU CULT that still hate with arrogance and ignorance towards other Programs are growing smaller every year!

Those few can worship the past but that past is dead and gone with the 2012 Reforms that put Penn State Pride back into NCAA, Big Ten and Federal Compliance's and now free of NCAA Sanctions required to change that CULTure!
