Wow I think we should definitely cover that. They’re not very good and while we can’t shoot, we should be able to destroy their zone in the middle with Hugley there.
Id hope Jeffress time is severely limited tonight. Let some others show what they can do. I’d like to see some Collier, Hugley, Mo lineups and put Mo on the wing. It won’t happen, but I’d like to see it

Depends if we can work the ball inside. Gueye is the perfect high post - elbows player -- vs their zone. Hugley could do serious damage underneath if it is attacked high-low post that way.
I agree- I’d like to see Collier, Hugley, Mo together . Maybe getting Oladapo back offers some flexibility to use together.
I can Hugley and Collier being effective offensive rebounders against their zone- look for space and attack.
I just hope we don’t get lured into early jump shots— Femi, Jeffress, can’t just take the first available 3. Get the ball on the rim and attack the offensive glass.
does cuse still have that tall, skinny white dude from like lithuania or something? That guy always kills us, swear he's been there for like 10 years. i know buddy has our number too but that eastern european dude always dropped 20 on us. he's like 6'8", 84 pounds but can shoot the lights out..

Cuse isn’t good. We know they will jack up a bunch of 3’s, the key is we have to run them off the 3 line as they aren’t very good at driving. Girad and Buddy annoy me. Girad is really cocky and Buddy seems to just go for his because daddy is coach. But I like the older brother Jimmy, he’s a better all around player than buddy IMO except he’s not a selfish gunner.

I'd pick Burton.. he lives in that mid range area as it is. Nice to have a playmaker there as well.
Would love to see Santos get some time and find his stroke. Remember when Chris Jones hit like 6 3s against them? He was a bad outside shooter
Yeah I thought the same today be nice to have Collier do a Nasir impersonation with Mo Femi Burton on the perimeter and John in the high post.

Seems like the perfect lineup of Collier can do anything inside. Gives more length against their shooting as well.
I actually think Pitt has a few different guys to attack 'Cuse's zone with this season, so 10.5 does seem way high. But they also have a bunch of skinny white guys who can jack up threes on their squad, and everyone knows teams with those types of players are Pitt's kryptonite. So we'll see.

If we keep turning the ball over and stop making 3's the 10.5 won't be nearly enough. I am disappointed with our defense. We get beat off the dribble way to easy and their guys aren't especially quick.

We only have six turnovers at half time. For this team, that's actually pretty good.
Cuse is awful. No inside game to speak of. Just try to get an open 3 from thr Boeheims or Girard. If we could handle their dribble drive better, we could force them into tough shots at the end of the shot clock.
Defense tonight is pathetic. Blowout coming. Cuse is probably the least athletic team in the conference and we can't guard them.
