From Chris Peak (makes sense to me)

What he said makes total sense. Even with the addition of Horton, who most of the time gives up more points with his piss poor defense than he sporadically produces, this team wouldn't have won more than 1 more game...possibly. And with Horton on the team and playing his brand of poor defense, we might have lost more than we have won. With a full roster for the whole year, I just can't imagine that it would have made much of a difference at all. The additions just aren't that good overall on both ends of the court.

Horton and Sibande make a considerable difference in the non-con.

When you have trouble scoring and with turning the ball over anytime the opposing team is making their shots your going to lose and by large amounts . Nike looked like he was coming into his own at the end of last season , he’d have helped tremendously and having 6 players instead of 5 is big .

What bothers me even more than the offense is that this team just can't defend. They are not good athletes for the most part and lack the quickness to stay in front of their man. Teams generally shoot well against us because they get open shots, especially from 3 pt land. The only games we really performed well were games where we defended reasonably well. Again, it comes down to lack of talent and also no depth to speak of.
