Congrats. She isn’t buying him out despite obviously losing at least 2 of his 4-5 best players. I’m glad you finally got ONE right and we can sit thru another 5-15 season with TO Hugley being completely average again because apparently we don’t lift legsHe will be the coach in 2022-23 and I will be right again. Heather isn't buying out 5 years if he returns his best players.
???I am getting too old to even read this board.Maybe Jay-Z can get him a gig at ROC NATION or something.
Agreed. At this point I have learned to live without Pitt hoops which was the focal point of my winter and spring. I have no faith in Capel. I'm not a fan of Lyke either. They created the mess and must live with it,He will be the coach in 2022-23 and I will be right again. Heather isn't buying out 5 years if he returns his best players.

Hugley and Horton both have a free transfer and could easily leave. There is no loyalty in this game regardless. And Horton has been jerked around by Pitt, if he has an opportunity to leave he absolutely should.Lets say he loses Femi.
Hugley and Horton are back as they are tied to him due to his support for them.
Sibande isn't going to transfer after Pitt rehabs him for a year.
Burton - isnt going to do 4th school in 5 years when he has a starting job here.
Who do you think will transfer? And I don't think its a lock Femi does.
Hugley, Femi, Jeffries, Collier, Santos, Payton and Amadasun transferLets say he loses Femi.

im shocked Femi didn’t go in the portal at semester
Losing? Is Femi that unhappy? About what? Not being the primary ball handler?
Hugley could and should transfer to Dayton, dominate the league then if he wants grad transfer to Kentucky when he’s fully developed physically, emotionally and has a few post moves. Would have a terrific college career and be a mid level euro player then. The Brush coach is in love with Capel. Plus, Hugley can't do any better than Pitt according to you. Why would he transfer to Cleveland State or Green Bay? Horton certainly will do no better than Pitt being that he's an average P6 player who was arrested for punching a cop. No decent program will take that chance. He isnt good enough
Because they are tired of losing and can get PT for a winning team.Really why would anyone whose seeing PT transfer ? Has anyone exceeded expectations so drastically that they'd be in such high demand at better programs ?
I can appreciate that none of us are happy with the direction of the program , but none of us are privy to how these kids relate to their coach . We all ( except Gary ) hated KS , but his players , who knew him the best didn’t .
Finally , Heather has no desire to fire her coach and will only do so if she’s forced to with so many yrs left on her/ his extended contract . No coach they hire will sell enough tickets to make any financial impact equivalent to the buyout .

He can do the same thing by staying, with less unknowns in between. What motivates him to transfer earlier when he is still the man here ( fwiw)?if he wants grad transfer to Kentucky when he’s fully developed physically, emotionally
Opportunity to dominate a lesser league, better coaching from Anthony Grant, ability to play with better players (they have better guards than us), win their league, develop actual post moves and an outside shot because the entire game plan won’t be geared against him and most importantly… WINHe can do the same thing by staying, with less unknowns in between. Certainly a great answer. No doubt players want to win and have teammates who are good enough to "get the ball" to them. But I guess I am naive, because by far I think players want to be the guy, not role players in lesser leagues. Also, Does JH know he is not being coached up or does he know who Anthony Grant is, let alone that Anthony Grant wants him at his school?Opportunity to dominate a lesser league, better coaching from Anthony Grant, ability to play with better players (they have better guards than us), win their league, develop actual post moves and an outside shot because the entire game plan won’t be geared against them and most importantly… WIN
Can Capel enter the portal?
Kind of humbling to be the new junior college to Dayton 😜Hugley could and should transfer to Dayton, dominate the league then if he wants grad transfer to Kentucky when he’s fully developed physically, emotionally and has a few post moves. I hate to say this but........."Fake News"Kind of humbling to be the new junior college to Dayton
Other than Hugley whom do you refer too ?Because they are tired of losing and can get PT for a winning team.

There is a better than even chance that Hugley transfers. Also Femi. I think Burton may stay just because he doesn't want to go through that again. We lose Gueye because of eligibility. Horton....I don't care. But he may transfer as well. They all know this is a dumpster fire. Wait until later in February when we play some decent teams. None of them have any loyalty to Pitt or this coach nor should they. This isn't like it was back in the early 2000's when real basketball was being played.
The team will be decimated next year unless Capel strikes gold in the transfer portal with a couple of top-rated guys and recruits a top 25 guy out of high school that is a program changer. And what are the chances that will happen?
Lol, just counteract every argument you’ve ever made in 5 sentences. If Capel loses Hugley and Femi, he's gone. I don't think Hugley leaves. He and Chet Mason like Capel. He is close to home. And he has a criminal record, meaning some schools may not want to take a risk
