Surprised no one has commented on the Reddit research proving FSU was ineligible for bowls this year because Delaware State fell below the 90% 2 year scholarship requirement to count as a countable win. Appears UTSA got the raw deal as Buffalo (6-6) & WMU (6-6) also lose out on the same rule.

It's too late to do anything about it this year but I think it does bring in to question how often has this happened in the past and since it's been brought to light, do you think it impacts scheduling FCS schools in advance who could possibly not count as a win for Bowl eligibility? Pitt normally schedules against pretty solid FCS opponents when they do play them, but I would hope they write some type of penalty clause in to future contracts if it could impact something as significant as this.

Posters are to busy discussing movies, pizza places, PSU past indiscretions, WVU academics, was Dixon fired or did he leave on his own, how do we get rid of Stalling after year one of a six year contract, Temple's on campus stadium, yellow or black tarps, tarp or not to tarp, if we tarp do we tarp over the fans or let them know we're tarping so they can get out, yellow seats, yelllow seats, yellow seats, which uniforms, color of Pitt football uniforms, I don't like the colors, turf field or grass, traffic problems, parking problems, tailgate or not to tailgate, where will we tailgate if we tailgate, did we get screwed by the officials or not, where did DiNucci get the pictures, calculating the IQ' s of posters who they never met, trying to convince other posters that they're dumber than they think, politics, the Pirates owners su-k, kneel or not to kneel,Tomlin's terrible, Ben is done, time of games, what channel is the game on ( no channel), is Barry Alvarez telling Chryst and Narduzzi what to do, is Barry Alvarez the first Latino leader of the free world, Sean Miller is in town interviewing for head Pitt basketball coach, if Sean Miller isn't in town Thad Matta definately is and he's playing horse with Lyke, after that they go to Statler's batting cages in Greenburg for so softball batting practise, how to fit an on campus stadium in the alley next to the Pitt Shop including parking, anyone not living in Pittsburgh, NY City, or Hollywood is a dumb hillbilly, etc.

Thanks for the information that was interesting!

I can understand playing an FCS school, but why such a low-level MEAC school? Honestly, Cal or IUP would beat Delaware State handily.

It's BETTER to have the 110% guaranteed, blowout WIN, nobody remembers who you played. And the bowl people don't care, they'd rather SELL the NAME FSU.
