Stallings was able to last for 25 years in the game and win 60% of his games. Capel is probably going to get shit-canned this year after 13 years and a 57% winning percentage, despite landing a gig at OU, where it's actually possible to win at a fairly high level.

If you watched Stallings teams at Vanderbilt, and any Capel coached team, you know which guy is the better coach. That has nothing to do with race. There are a lot of good black coaches. Jeff Capel isn't one of them though. (neither is Jerry Stackhouse)

Stallings obviously wasn’t a good hire for Pitt, but he clearly was a better overall coach than Capel.

Honestly his high school teammate Jack Gallagher, who is a bench player at Edinboro, looks like a better player than Jeffress.
