GDG must go

I would guess Cumming and Ndiaye are it. And the most annoying part about bringing in so many new players will be Vader trying to convince everyone how great all this secondhand bargain bin dross is going to be.

I guess Ndiaye may return too and it's possible Kante may not. I'd say it's possible that Cummings doesn't either. We may literally not return anyone. But to be fair, we really only have 2 P5 level underclassmen, Lowe and Cummings so losing those other guys is probably for the best.

Corhen does have “Pittsburgh” tattooed on his arm so he may not leave!

The only way you can bring Corhen back is if you land a dominant rebounder at the 4, which means you are playing 2 bigs, which nobody really does. Or you move Corhen to the 4 if you get a dominating rebounder at the 5. Corhen cannot play starters minutes at this level unless there are really good rebounders around him.

wait i thought everyone was pissed a month or so ago when we wasnt getting playing time? I said he was terrible and I got ridiculed lmao. People love to talk out of both sides of their mouth on this damn website.

It's almost as if there are lots of different posters here with lots of different opinions.

The notion that there has ever been a time here that everyone thought Guilllermo was a good player is wrong. Just wrong.

He is, however, the best defensive rebounder on the team. By a good margin. And of the guys who actually play, he's the best offensive rebounder as well.

Guillermo Diaz Graham is way down on the list of things that are wrong with this team.

Huh? This board was screaming for lots of playing time for GDG. He hasn't improved at all since he got to Pitt. They recruited two 7 foot twigs.

Some people were, some people weren't. There are people here (you know one of them really well ;) ) who have always said that he stinks.

If you are trying to figure out the problems with this team and you have Guillermo higher on your list than Cam Corhen you did your list wrong. And there are plenty of other problems with this team bigger than Guillermo.

GDG gets some of that Tino treatment. Fans get mad at those guys, basically because they werent recruited over and were the best options.

GDG is fine when he plays within his (limited) skill set. The turnover pass was outside of his strength and was a huge play. Losing the rebound also hurt but I agree the biggest issue this year has been the demise of the guard play and the fact that there’s not a single player that seems to have improved over the course of the season. That’s an indictment on the coaching staff.

He really is. He tried to use his body for position to box out, has good instincts & "explodes" to the ball. He sometimes can be pushed around, and it's true he doesn't have the strongest hands, but from a technique standpoint, GDG is very solid.
