I know this has been talked about already, but here goes.
I don’t live in Pittsburgh, I don’t have DirectTV or cable. I do have Sling, ACC, ESPN +.
Will there be any way for me to watch Thursday’s game?

Sling has ACC Network, correct? If so, you should be able to watch it on the ESPN app if you turn off your wifi and uss your Sling credentials to login to ESPN. If the game is not being shown on a Philly RSN, then the turning off the wifi step wouldn't be necessary as it wouldn't be blacked out locally so you can watch on the ESPN app as normal.

This one is on NBC Sports Washington, do you have an NBC Sports local network in your area?

Thanks everyone!!
I do have ESPN3 thru Sling, I just figured out that they will be showing it.
One more crisis averted🤣

If only someone would publish a list each week of which channels are showing these syndicated games. Come to think of it, that would be a great thing for the ACC to do on their web site. And then schools like Pitt could put a link on their web site to that list, which would remove confusion for a lot of people.

Wait a second....

On the ACC webpage, they only list the TV as “regional sports network” and on the Pitt webpage they list AT&T SportsNet.

However, sometimes it’s on another regional network for the opposing school (i.e. FOX Sports South) that some out-of-town fans can get. You’re correct, but that’s why I asked my question. Couldn’t find that answer anywhere else...

Literally, two clicks of the mouse

Actually right there on the Pitt web page there is a link that says "Watch on TV", and if you click the link it goes right to the page I linked above. On the ACC web site if you go to the football schedule and look at the Pitt - Georgia Tech game it has a link that says "Watch" and if you click on that it goes to the same place. Although to be fair, it took three mouse clicks to get to it that way rather than the two it took by going through the Pitt web site.

Thank you, that’s what I was looking for. I was previously using this and this which is why I couldn’t find that info.

It’s on one of the alternative Fox Sports channels for me.

I have the regular channel saved to my favorites, and have to do a search to find the games when they are on a alternate channel.

I don’t have the four alternate channels saved to keep from clicking onto dead air channels 99% of the time.

It appears I don’t have this week’s regional channel but it will be on streamed on the ESPN site/app via ESPN3. I can usually throw that up onto my TV with no issues.

The game IS on ACCN, correct???

Hope so.
No, I don’t believe so. However, if you have a smart TV, any sort of device that can be thrown up to a TV, or a laptop, you can watch it on ESPN’s online streaming site if you can’t get the regional sports network.

No.

Raycom has the TV rights so check your local regional sports network.

ESPN owns the streaming rights so you can stream it live on the ESPN app (ACCNX) although the stream could potentially be blacked out in your area based on several factors I've already touched on.

Or of course go to buffstreams and watch it

Seriously. You can literally watch any game you want in any sport on here for free. I don’t use it all the time cause I do have directly still (although debating getting rid of it), but... there are many many free streaming sites

Get the foxsportGo app. Login with your Directv userid/password.

Can anyone in the Charlotte area help me out? I went out to the bar specifically to watch the game thinking it was on Fox Sports Southeast, but apparently it’s on Fox Sports South, which i neither have at home, nor does the bar have with directtv. Any other directtv options? Don’t make me watch the freegin Patriots. Thanks!

Anyone else in the Pittsburgh area get blocked from streaming this game? I have Comcast internet and have ESPN3 through Sling. The game will not play, all I get is an error message. I then went to ESPN3 on the desktop and it says that the game is blacked out.

FYI for those who get ATTSN, I am watching the game on their app. You just need to verify your provider.

I'm just befuddled why this game is being played on a Thursday evening if the ACCN wasn't going to buy out the rights to the game? I can live with not being able to watch Pitt and GT on a Saturday, but living in Charlotte, this the first ACC game I can recall missing down here. I live in the South, in ACC heartland, close to Atlanta, yet it's on Fox Sports South, which is basically an optional sports pack channel with most providers down here. There's not a damn free stream I can find anywhere on the internet. I had to go to 3 bars to find the channel and got kicked out at 9 because of our new curfew. Bologna.

Fox Sports South is the ”local” sports network for me. Is it Fox Sports Southeast for you?

Yes it is...fox sports southeast was replaying a Braves game from last year. They are the channel here that carries the Hornets, Hurricanes and generally a lot of Acc “regional broadcasts”.

Well, I might have to wait another 2 years to catch the next Pitt 100 yard rusher, so sorry to miss that part.
The final drive was nice. Just pounded them and added to the lead. That is how your offense wins games.
