Please don't get defensive and think this is a shot at Pitt. It is not. It just shows how the very elite and the gap between them and other P4 level programs. But over the last two years, Georgia has signed over 20 ESPN top 300 recruits in each class. That means in the last two years, they have had over 40 Yop 300 kids join the program. I am guessing Pitt has had 2 or 3.
How this doesn't affect Pitt as much as it is affecting the Florida's, Auburn's and Clemson's of the world. I imagine they are going after many of the same kids. Even Alabama and Tennessee.
Just stunning when I heard this. And look at their churn? Every year they are producing 5-6 guys drafted in the NFL's first couple of rounds. I already saw a 2025 Mock that had 4 Georgia kids in Rd 1, which includes two in the top 5, including #1 overall (Carson Beck).
