They've identified the weakness in Pitt's defense all year: Pitt's LBs can't cover backs out of the backfield and Pitt's corners have trouble w/ man coverage. They've consistently and relentlessly attacked both levels of Pitt's defense all game.
For as good as Caprara is on blitzing, he's just as bad in coverage, especially against swing passes and wheel routes. For as good as Galambos is at blitzing A-gap, he's just as bad at covering drags and slants across the middle. And, as we all know, Pitts/Maddox struggle in coverage on sidelines and in man-coverage. Miami has targeted these 4 all day. And, it's worked, predictably so.
