Give me....

Joe Rudolph or give me death. Seriously.

Or Tim Cramsey.

Those are the only two on my short list.
Narduzzi isn’t going anywhere at this point, so I assume you are referring to OC. Rudolph coming here as OC doesn’t make sense. Cramsey makes more sense as a realistic option.

Why in the wide world of sports would Rudolph take a demotion to come to pitt.

he’s OC and Assc HC at a top 15 program. Come on guys,

It wouldn't be a demotion really. He needs to fly off on his own away from mama Chyrst and prove he can run his own offense.

He interviewed for OC when Duzz hired Whipple. I was actually surprised Narduzzi didn't go with him.

If Rudolph indeed wanted the job and Narduzzi hired Whipple, then that is yet another strike against him. I find it hard to believe.

I am almost certain @Chris Peak reported that Narduzzi spoke to Rudolph. I believe Narduzzi tried to keep Rudolph when he was hired at Pitt but he left with Chryst and then revisited it before he hired Whipple.

I know Narduzzi offered him the job when he first got the hired, but if he didn’t want it then they there is no way he’d want it now.

I think the reason he does is because he wants to prove he can run his own show so he can be a HC. I think that has hurt him on that front when he's interviewed. I think a lot of places see him as a product of Chryst.

And like I said I believe there was a degree of mutual interest of both Narduzzi and Rudolph. I'm not sure why it didn't happen, but I'm pretty sure they spoke about it after the 2018 season.
