I like most others am viewing this season as “just so Pitt”. The dept sent me the email offering 4 ND tix and I didn’t ever respond. Even during the Miami game I went and ran errands during the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Pitt has been pathetic and I agree with all the talk about the quality of our coaches. there is a reset of the fan base coming.
In attempting to light the small ember of hope I have left, what if we do pull the upset this week. What if all the mental errors suddenly go away this afternoon. A big win on national TV for certain. What a putz Narduzzi would be to crap the bed against lessor teams then ruin someone else’s season as he seems to do each year. If everything comes together today and they play a complete game, we can win the next three. Maybe the team would learn something from a win today that can be applied to GT and FSU. That could be three in a row heading into VT. Would a seven win season and a trip to the military bowl at least address the apathy somewhat? I think it would. That still means changes Need to be made this offseason.
