Go GT 17-0 against the Dawgs

It's entertaining for tonight, but we might all be hating Georgia Tech pretty soon. Looks like they're doing a pretty good job at building that program back up.

Trap game and a half for Georgia. There's a chance that a win next week gets them a bye while a loss leaves them out of the playoff altogether.

Is there any way Boise State and the ACC, Big 10, and Big 12 champs finish in front of 10-3 Georgia sec champion?

I highly doubt it. For it to be possible, you'd probably need Georgia to get blown out today, A&M to win tomorrow, and then the lower of those teams to win an ugly one next week.

But if A&M beats #3, they're going to shoot up high enough where whomever wins next week is probably going to Boise State, in my opinion.

I live in Georgia so with all the obnoxious Dawg fans I’m just gonna enjoy this
where? i grew up in savannah. ga tech is too good of an academic school and too many elite athletes in ga for them
to be down forever.

Macon but we also have spent lots of time in ATL and visit Savannah as well. Went to see Pitt beat Tech a few years back with FFrench I think it was a 20-10 final.

GT o-line is dominating Georgia's D-line. GT would crush us, so glad we didn't play them this year. There is simply no comparison between their o-line and ours. Narduzzi should look himself in the mirror and ask why there is such a difference in talent between GT's line and ours. He should be ashamed of himself and the staff's recruiting in that area. It's just pathetic.

Looked like targeting, but I admit I only caught a brief glimpse of it. Would be kind of odd if, with all these 5-stars Georgia has and the talent disparity they hold over GT, it's a walk-on who makes the play of the game.

Amazing that these announcers just now realized it's 4th down. Seemed obvious to me. Though it doesn't really change much, because you still only have one play to get in FG range.

So we’ve now reached a point with ref conspiracies that an ACC crew is in the bag for an SEC team? Do I have that right.

Not saying it’s everyone. Some could just be suggesting the refs generally suck.
not sure how you miss a hold so obvious

so inept or paid, yes

Georgia had lots of $upport

That’s where I’m at. This isn’t a conspiracy, but it’s general incompetence
I will also say while it’s not a conspiracy, I think refs fall into the subconscious trap of calling certain ways for certain teams. I think of a couple Pitt games, like the notre dame game in the chryst year where there were a couple bad calls, including a horrific pi that esssentially extended the game, or Duke in basketball (think of last year where we won with their guys shoving out guys all night and no calls, or the weird ob overturn)

This is some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen though

I'd have to go back and see exactly how much time was left. But when GT scored to make it 27-13, there's a chance they'd have been better draining a few minutes off the clock even if it only meant going up 23-13. Although I guess the better solution is don't let Georgia score two touchdowns in like four minutes.

So, I turned the game on at 8:40 MST. 5:30 on the clock, 4th qtr, UGA down by 14. 1 hour and 25 minutes later (real time) and eight OT's, the game finally ends. That was some game. As I read through a few of the posts here, it seems that the game should've been won by the yellow jackets 🐝 in regulation. UGA just found a way to win.

I agree with others that GT is a hell of a team. Brent Key is a hell of a coach. Glad we didn't have to play them this year
