Wiltjer and Sabonis combined for 51 of Gonzaga's 63 points.

At least it doesn't hurt our RPI, since our game against Gonzaga never actually happened.

Their starting perimeter averaged over 30 PPG last year and they all graduated. The players that replaced them, not so much.

Yeah... I got into a discussion with a Zag fan over on TOS on this and... came up with the three new players being a distributor, a defensive standout, and a team player. Not exactly 30 PPG and the most any of them had averaged last year was 4.5 PPG.

Yes, and Purdue, at home, struggled a bit with New Mexico (rated a couple of points below Pitt by Sagarin) only winning 70-58 after being up by only single digits for much of 2nd half.

Wiltjer is one of the best players in the country. Gonzaga though, and I've been saying it for years, is always overrated. I just don't think they would compete in the big conferences.

Purdue was 3-20 from behind the arc. If they had done that against pitt, Pitt wins by 10
