Tired of UPS and keeps it more interesting. Don't know anything about their coach but he must be very good. If Pitt would only get interested in wrestling. Oh well.

Tom Ryan wrestled at Iowa at around the same time as Tom Brands did. I believe he was an assistant at Cornell before getting the tOSU job. They never were a top team in the Big Ten and he has done a great job there.
The Big Ten has been the top wrestling conference for a number of years now, but it used to be that Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan were the dominant programs. The next tier was Illinois, Michigan State and Northwestern. Indiana, Purdue and tOSU were the weak sisters. Now tOSU has become an elite program even though the conference has added Nebraska and PSU, both historically strong programs.
