At least he didn't have to change the addresses of any kids he recruited at PSU like he did at Gateway. He was a POS there I'm sure he'll be just as big of one at PSU.

I would guess if they have a 6-6 type year this year and the pressure mounts he'll bolt before the ship goes down. He doesn't seem like the kind to stand up to a fight but rather to run away and hide.
The useful life of this deny-the-rivalry strategy is nearing its end. If Narduzzi can recruit the WPIAL each year going forward like he did in 2016, this hollow nonsense of #Unrivaled and "we don't need the Pitt game" will die. Smith couldn't even offer any spin... just "not in my opinion." A Pitt win this September can really speed up this process.
Smith is an a@$. Why they hired him is beyond me. Franklin thought he was getting a connection to WPIAL football, but it is my impression that the door is not always open to Smith when it comes to area high schools. He will fit in well with slick Jimmy.
It seems that Frankie's strategy of hiring coaches native to PA to enhance recruiting is going to backfire. He will have bad coaches and bad recruiters!!
How many coaching candidates lists was he on after this season? That will be the issue. He is being exposed as a bad coach. Who's going to take the chance with him? He's making ~$4.6 million per year.
I listened to the crook and phoney show a little today in my car, they were talking about Pitt - State Penn rivalry, phoney said this years game between the 2 schools, means more to Pitt then it does to state penn, because state penn would rather beat OSU, Michigan and Mich St then it would Pitt, and that they want to beat Pitt but it mattered more to beat the other 3 schools in the Big, and to Pitt this game is their whole season, like Pitt don't care if they win their conference as long as they beat state penn and Pitt is so obsessed with this game that nothing else matters, crook actually told phoney that he was out of his mind, and said this game matters to both schools, Andy filiphoney is so anti Pittsburgh he is a joke probably never played a sport in his life, that's why he took up a pen and a microphone. Like Pitt is so simple minded, and bragging rights in pa. Means nothing to the nits and fans Pompiani also told phoney he was dead wrong and besides, I don't see state penn beating any of those 3 big school

Just the fact that they're asking him that question - and in the manner in which they are asking it - tells you all you need to know.
Also, look at his body language while he's answering those questions. Does that guy look like someone who just dominated on the recruiting trail?

They are not happy in Nittany Valley or Old Main, and you spotted what many know may happen if they cannot win 10 games soon?
The finish was not s expected or talked about and they took a JUCO because they had no choice, and just last month Franklin said he would not do build the Program that way....today he changed his mind again. Terry Smith is a great person but he never should play Poker with you?
