Being home with nothing to do and waiting for the market to bottom.
I have watched about 10 Pitt games from beginning to end when Pitt was getting Alabama type recruiting classes consistently.
Just finished up with the Pitt vs Penn st game from 1987. Darnall Dickerson was the starting QB as a freshman. Ironhead and Gladman were the backs.
Defensively Pitt was ridiculously loaded. Tony Woods, Grossman, Spindler, Saragusa, Kieth Hamilton, Zeke Gadson, Billy Owens and Louis Riddick., Gerry O. Unreal talent.
Another good game was against BYU at home in 1984. Should of destroyed them. Except for some horrible in game decisions from Foge Fazio. BYU went on to win the national championship that year.
So many great games from 1977 to 1991. When Pitt was beating the Ohio st’s of the world. Unfortunately, we always under achieved losing to scrub teams. Even with the talent this program was bringing in. Crazy
With all these back and forth political posts. It’s a lot more enjoyable watching your favorite football team when they were loaded with talent. Play with and beating the big boys of college football....... just sayin
