Duke looked to be the better team in the first half, with almost 300 yards of total offense. We got two big breaks in the 2nd half with the recovery on Boyd's fumble and the PI call. But, we took the ball the length of the field on our first three possessions with an assist from those two plays and the defense stepped up big time.

It was a great team effort. A total effort. Duke did what some Pitt teams used to do. They quit. I don't think a Narduzzi team will ever quit.

Who would have thought we could beat a good team on the road when the only three passes Boyd caught were slip screens. And with 2 of our four player rotation at DT hurt. But we persevered and were the tougher team mentally and physically.

We end up 4-0 on the road in the ACC and 5-1 overall. We are only 2-2 and 1-1 at home. Let's finish 9-3 and 7-1 in the ACC and see how UNC does against Miami, VT and NC State!
