I will say they are improving in all facets of the game. Should we be further a long in year 4? Without question. But we are improving.

Need to make changes to the staff on the offensive side of the ball.
It's a shame this great defensive effort was wasted today by the lack of offense. You cannot expect to win games with a one dimensional offense. After the first Pitt touchdown, ND keyed on stopping the run and it was all over. The pass offensive, while a little bit better today is woefully inadequate. Especially the last drive,
with ball back and 2:30 to play, they cannot do anything.
Just went toe to toe with the number 5 team in the country and came damn close to beating them. A shame Kessman didn’t get those field goals but it happened. I disagree with most and think it was a solid offensive game plan to possess the ball for as long as we did. Defense looks night and day from two games ago. Tremendous effort. Can only hope they continue to improve.

ND just thrashed VT in a very tough place to play and we took it to them at their house. If you can’t see improvement in the defense and in our running game, you just aren’t watching. I think pitt will be in every game they have left.
