Amazing win. We couldn't stop them in first half but halftime adjustments made game winnable in 2d. Kudos to HCPN and defensive staff.
But I think the most important thing we learned was that Narduzzi learns. Against Iowa with 4th and 1 in better field position he punted and Iowa drove for winning FG. Today with 4th and 1 at GT 49 he went for it and we got winning FG. He made a mistake against Iowa IMO but corrected it today.
I was shocked he went for a 56 yard FG and it barely cleared the crossbar and barely was inside the right upright. But as the Gunner Bob Prince used to say, close only counts in horseshoes and quoits.
Now we have to see if he can get this team focused for another road game at Syracuse after a big win. This is a position these players have not been in before.
Anyone still upset that Chryst left for Wisconsin? I think not.
