Greensboro Colliseum- Area around and experiences for people that have been there

Heading to Greensboro on Friday. Haven't been there in a while, but I do not remember the stadium being in too nice of an area or there being many restaurants around. Does someone who has been there recently want to share their experiences?

I'm sure there is a Cracker Barrel, a Red Lobster, a Shoney's, and a Waffle House nearby.
