..we know the problem. It's our lack of talent at the guard position. You can point out other things we struggle with but the key issue is our backcourt. It was 2 years ago(but it had potential), it was last year & it is this year.
JD continued to stress that he could win w/ JRob at the point. He even tried to make Newkirk be JRob which destroyed a potential player that we so badly needed. Hence Newkirk went to Indiana. You watch & see if he does not get back to being a player that we all thought he could be.
We do not necessarily need a superstar at the guard position. Hell playing offense w/ 2 weapons like Artis & Young will open up quite a bit for just a average athlete to really take advantage of...It's not like we are asking a player to come in & take over. We just need someone to be a threat & be able to touch the rim athletically.
Jamie has failed us w/ this whole JRob experiment & the great Assist to TO ratio.
