I tried to list guys who may exit the program for varies reasons. Any predictions on how we might meet 85? Wish everyone one of these kids well, but just trying to figure out how we are going to fit all the players recruited. Looked over the rosters and its a very young roster.....Any Ideas, names, situations?

1. Kollin Smith - goes full time track.
2. Albert Tucker - Lots of linebackers - Campbell move
3. Elias Reynolds - Doghouse
4. Brandon Ford - Playing time
5. Jerry Drake - Home sick no playing time
6. Todd Sibley - Injuries
7. Michael Smith - Playing time recruited over
8. Cameron O'neal - Playin time recruited over
9. Dontavius Butler-Jenkins - System change home sick?

There are a lot of things that can happen (injuries, guys unhappy with lack of PT, etc), but there is always turnover. Upperclassmen that are not listed on the 2 Deep are the ones that might need to move to a lower level if you are looking for a hint.

Not sure of names but a too many people not doing anything at OL and WR. I’d expect attrition there after this fall..

Some star linebackers that gave the staff enough confidence to go recruit a grad transfer too. That’s telling.

Surprised by some you listed. We need all the OL candidates we can muster. And I thought Reynolds was coming on.

Sibley and the WRs — I’d like to see what these guys look like under the new OC and WR Coach...

Go Pitt.

to be fair I guess the OP was just trying to free up space for the "amazing " new recruits.
That's the best part of sports , its the only thing you have to tune into "live" anymore.

Well the good news is, they will all get a summer camp and a season to prove they shouldn’t be pushed on to their life’s work for ‘20.

And in 2 - 3 years, we will be naming several of these amazing recruits on lists of players that need to move on for the next batch of amazing recruits.

Agree. It's way too early to make any predictions on some of these young guys. Heck, Reynolds is the likely starter at MLB. It will all work itself out over the next year.

Maybe we should try to figure out who goes early to the NFL. I think we have 14-15 seniors on the team. So start with that, plus.
Weaver, morrissey, Kessman.
Camp or Pinnock if they shine this season.
I won't speculate on who transfers out.

Won’t go into detail but there is a chance that Pig Smith doesn’t make it to Pitt this fall, so if you’re counting him toward 85, that is one less.

Sibley? He may start and will at least be in the mix.

We still need one more scholarship for this year (unless Medure isn't renewed).

Kollin Smith isn't on scholarship.

Attrition would be one LB, one WR, one OL, one QB, one RB, one DB. That gets us to 20.

I think we are done at LB and WR. we allegedly pulled an offer from a really good one in hightower, who went to msu. We have 2 RBs too so I pray we are done there..

We need 2 OL and im good.. A qb if they want to reach for one (or if a really good one is still available).

The NCAA just changed the transfer guidelines. Supposedly this will limit cases where a kid is immediately eligible. I don't know if that will be a factor in the ongoing shuffle or not. Good news for FCS, I guess.
They need to be consistent with the transfers having immediate eligibility . Give in or ban them, I’m fine either way but eliminate these words of ambiguity that creates inconsistencies. Extenuating circumstances and words like that. This could be anything. Family health problems? Yeah, we all have parents and they get old. Any college aged kid can say he needs to transfer home to care for an elderly parent.

Immediate eligibility cause a college kid heard a racial slur and felt harassed? Lol, give me a break. Just be consistent.

I can easily see 3-4 kids who can move on, or just not offered their 5th year. Also could see someone like Rashard Weaver move on to the NFL.

Still can’t believe they use fax machines. When someone asks me at work to fax them something, oh wait, never mind, no one has done that since 2009.

Fax is still used in a number of business functions that require written direction. If you need a document to include a signature, fax is faster than the mail. And it is less susceptible to manipulation than email. But I agree, with the proliferation of digital imaging, including scanning apps for phones, you would think that they could use some other medium for delivery of the LOIs.

Hopefully we have a great year and some of our underclassmen declared because of a great performance I hate to see any kid have to move on after they've chosen us but I realize it's a natural progression of college football

Geez, I don’t see it. Maybe the CB If he has a great year. I love weaver but is he an nfl DE? If so, great for us.

It’s a great problem to have, if it pans out.

Most up to date organizations use Docu Sign for docs requiring signatures.

It's safe, fast, and accepted as legal signed docs by Doctors, Lawyers, Real Estate, Tax Preparers, and Financial Advisors.

But Fax Away!

Docu Sign has fax capability. That is what faxing is now, integrated with computers or mobile devices for internet or cloud fax services. Just like phone or cable service has been moving to data lines, the phone based fax machine has waned in favor of digital.

But fax service is still very much used, especially in government agencies or heavily regulated industries still use it because of the paper trail aspect of it. Or ones in mature industries or with more of a B2B clientele who don't switch as easily an individual consumer. Especially companies that have international operations, because fax is still very common in countries like Germany and Japan. So if you want to do business there, you better accommodate.

Shit, I meant that one of all those positions would leave. I edited my original post.

It's more that electronic communications are prohibited by certain regulations because enough people do not have access to the internet, certain people with disabilities struggle with electronic communications, and that there are still serious security concerns with email.

OP: Bro you gotta hope each one of those kids breaks out and goes full Zeke gadson or pistol Pete on the rest of the acc. They’re Panthers until they’re not. Things will work out like they always do - no need to be speculating in this distasteful manner
