Ha Ha Clinton-Dix won't get his degree because he owes Bama $1

Seems a little telling that he wasn't sure if he had actually graduated or not.
It's seems obvious that he graduated and was waiting for his degree in the mail, not knowing he was a dollar short. It's not that he didn't know he graduated.

You probably ought to go back and read his tweet in the article.
Maybe you should. He says he thought they didn’t send the degree because he didn’t graduate for some reason. Not that he didn’t know if he graduated or not.

I guess we see why your name is Ha Ha. If you're really that p!ssed about it, just send them the 100 pennies. 100 actual pennies.

Good for Dix getting his degree when his first priority at Alabama was a good one: playing football for a chance at the NFL.

I have a friend who thought for 10 plus years he completed everything for his doctorate. his wife gave birth nearcthe end of his final semester and he neglected to complete a few forms and finalize his paperwork with his committee. Turns out, they never awarded his doctorate for a few signatures. Actually cost him a job and many many dollars in grant money in a very tough field of astrophysics and some other crazy NASA stuff.

This may get the thread moved automatically to the other board, but does this fall into "sloppy lazy lack of personal responsibility" or "heartless cruel inflexible university administrative bloat"?

His wife had a baby late in the semester and he just couldn’t get back to campus and had finished everything but sign a paper or two. He defended and was approved. All the hard work. Sad part, he brought millions to multiple universities, but was fired for falsifying credentials. His doctorate was never offfically recognized despite completing everything. He had to move and complete a few requirements just to get some credibility back.

A signature or a $1.00. Crazy it takes just a few oversights.
