Well of course, why would anyone think he will come in and be deon sanders??? He woulda started game one if he was truly better.
If anything this whole shut up the nuts that always want the bench guys playing.

why would you burn his red shirt at this point in the season.

He needed to really go after it on that 3rd down play - A strong effort by Hamlin would have helped keep that play short
Troll elsewhere. Anyone with a clue understands why you do it for more than one reason. Trolls with an agenda, well that's a different story.
Not exactly the most physical player. Geez. Whitehead funneled that sweep inside like he was supposed to, right into the area where Hamlin was heading. Kid didn't even put his head down, much less try to make the tackle.
His redshirt is burned, there is no championship to play for. Please start the kid the rest of the way. If he costs us the Pinstripe Bowl and we wind up in Detroit, who cares. And is he REALLY going to cost us a win or 2? Doubtful
typical freshman, lost in the headlights. Redshirt helps the mental aspect of the game, the physical part is unquestioned. That said, injuries forced the hand to play him.
