I remember how Shady made up his mind and was upset when he Father drove him to Pitt for his last visit complaining he did not want to go and decided on Penn State. The Father reminded him, you promised to visit Pitt and that is what we are going to do. Shady showed up and visited and went to the Basketball Game and The Zoo chanted his name and shady made the switch to Pitt is It!!!
Shady that switched from Penn State to Pitt showed up for every class, practice, and game, learned the game and never looked back and with no Regrets!

I still believe Pitt is just as proud of its Players as their Teams, and Pitt has had higher and better teams in CFB History, more than Penn State or West Virginia!

I have always agreed, not much difference between PSU, PITT and WVU, this year, and the last 5 Years all with multiple coaches 2011-15? All need to do better!
As I see it right now, PSU 7-6 and 7-6 has the Top 15 Program with all the Resources and Great Recruiting for any Coach to win in his 3rd year. Yet, still needs better coaching to equal and beat Big Ten Teams with Programs with same Resources but better coaching as well as lesser Resource Big Ten Programs with better coaching?
Pitt at 8-5 has finally got a New Chancellor that got rid of an A.D that couldn't attract a Good, Very Good, or Great Head Coach at Nebraska or Pitt. Yet, New Chancellor with Interim A.D. attracted one that wanted to be at Pitt and in his first year showed better coaching in his First Year and his Recruiting is up compared to the other Coaches before him? Now he has to take on 4 New Coaches in ACC Coastal and Cuse on top of Very Good Coaches at UNC, GT, and Duke??
WVU at 10-3, 7-6, 4-8, 7-6 and 8-5 has mixed bag with a Program of Resources more than Pitt has had and less than PSU, but has difficulty beating the better Programs and Coaches in Big-12 too after his 5th year???
In 2015, PITT & WVU were tied and ranked 42nd in 2015, and Penn State ranked 58th!
PITT's Narduzzi is ranked at 42nd since he took over in 2015 8-5 .615%! Pat Narduzzi is the same in First Head Coaching job at Pitt.
WVU's Holgrosen is ranked 58th since he took over WVU in 2011 at 36-28 .562%! Dana Holgrosen went 10-3 in his first Head Coaching job at WVU with Bill Stewart in 2011, and 7-6 his first full year by himself in 2012!
Penn State's Franklin is ranked 62nd since he took over in 2014 at 14-12 .538. James Franklin went 6-7 his First Head Coaching job at Vanderbilt in 2011 and 62-42 since becoming a Head Coach.
Since 2011-2015, Penn State is 47th 38-25, WVU is 58th 36-25, and Pitt is 69th at 33-32! All 3 Coaches have more difficult schedules in 2016 than they did in 2015. All have many Players back and we shall see what they do in 2016 and two of them against one another????

Captain I was referring to basketball when I said Pitt&WVU are above average and not good this year.But that's OK I enjoyed your writing on football none the less.All three were about even this year in football but I think one was just a bit better than the other two.And no it wasn't my favorite team.The great player topic got me thinking about one I had a few years ago.He broke the wpial rushing record(since broken many times)back then.Boy was I a very good OC went he was there,every play call seemed to work.Oh by the way we didn't make the wpial playoffs his senior year!!!The defense stunk.

I agree to disagree, I think WVU is way better than Pitt in BB and Huggins is a better coach! I love Jamie though as Pitt BB, but if they replace him, I would want it to be Sean Miller!

I can accept that with one caveat, it depends when they would have played between the 3 Teams.
