Watching the game yesterday it is apparent we need help in the secondary. Does anyone know what Hamlin's injury is and if/when he will ready to play? Thx in advance.

Can't answer exactly but I did read something yesterday that indicated he's thinking he'll be able to play at some point this year. I would think however, if it's not soon, he may be better off taking the redshirt.

The word at the game yesterday was his groin. He was operated on it after his senior season and it's still not correct. That's why they brought in a specialist...

if my memory serves me correct I think he had a sports hernia and he re aggravated it in the Big 33 game.
