Today Central Catholic, Pitt Panther great, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Dan Marino turns 54.

It would be nice if he showed up at a Pitt game, especially last year when Pitt was playing at Miami. He's not like Dorsett, Fitzgerald, Green, Shady, and Ditka who show up every once in a while to give some moral support....

36 years ago today...Dan's 18th birthday...Pitt Stadium...Kansas Jayhawks...first pass (incomplete)...next pass ((interception)...not to be deterred, next pass TD to Ralph Still...at least that's how I remember it. (End zone toward Veteran's Hospital)
