I feel your pain, as a loyal Panther fan who has to live through another episode of, "What the hell just happened here"? Sometimes there are no explanations of how a team can dominate a game, yet still find a way to lose. There is definitely no explanation as to why it happens to Pitt as consistently as it does. Is it just bad luck? Is it some type of a curse? Did someone try to sneak in a goat to Heinz Field? It can't be the Sports Illustrated cover curse because Pitt hasn't been on a Sports Illustrated cover since 1976. Was Steve Bartman at today's game rooting for Pitt? Who knows? Hopefully, Heather knows! Take a deep breath, enjoy a good meal, toast in the New Year and hope for a turnaround to good fortune for this Pitt football program. Happy and Healthy New Year Pitt fans!
